Disney's Descendants the Musical
​​​​​​​Synopsis:
Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney's Descendants: The Musical is a brand-new musical jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films!
Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?
Auditions on the following days (choose one):
March 14th for at 11am
March 14th at 4:30pm
March 15th at 5:30pm
Doors open 30 min prior to audition times.
Children ages 8-18 are welcome to audition. A parent or guardian must accompany any child under the age of 18 to auditions to fill out and sign audition forms. (18 year olds must still be in high school).
All Rehearsals as well as auditions will take place at the Children's Theatre Building (Reith Hall) at 304 S. Governors Ave, Dover, De 19904
We will have cold reads from the script/ a dance call / and singing audition (choose 1 song) as well as a vocal range test. (See below for song options)
​Rehearsals will be held Sundays from 2-5pm/ Mondays 6-8pm/ Tuesdays 6-8pm/ and Thursdays from 6-8pm. Some rehearsals may increase during tech week (May 24-29th).
Not all actors will be needed at all rehearsals. ​​
Please note: Any conflicts (vacations, sports, music lessons, other rehearsals ect.) during rehearsal times will need to be written down at the time of auditions on the audition form. Please be sure to notify us of all conflicts, using the audition form at the time of auditions, as we will strongly consider these when planning our weekly rehearsal schedule. If you are busy during this time with many conflicts, please consider auditioning for a future play/musical.
Performance Dates: Saturday, 5/30/26 at 7pm & Sunday, 5/31/26 at 2pm

Special Audition Information for Descendants the Musical:
To be considered for a lead role, please sing one of the following cuts from the show for the character you would like to audition for. If the specific character you want isn’t listed, either sing a song from the ensemble list or any other similar character. The link for the songs is provided at the bottom of this casting call. A Pianist will be at auditions to play the songs for the students. Please note- any child may also sing “Happy Birthday” if they prefer.
